Description
This magnetic stirrer is ideal for stirring in scientific research, industry, agriculture, health and medicine, homebrew, etc. It comes with one magnetic stir bars (7mm × 25mm). The speed range is 0-3000 rpm. Maximum stirring volume: 3000 ml (0.8 gallons). Not suitable for highly viscous solutions. Glass beakers are not included.

If you buy one and the little magnet just lays there and just vibrates, turn the unit off; the magnet will center itself, then turn it on and slowly increase the power.this is good for vary vary light mixing, any solid matter that hits it will knock the magnet off it's spin and it will go back to just vibrating

Nothing much here. It does what its supposed to do. I use a 1000ml glass beaker. No issues. Would be nice to come with a few more rods but the price is cheap so no complaints. It can handle some thicker substances.

Been using this for a few months, average continuous 48h each week. No issues, still working like new. Only thing i dislike is the included magnetic pill which sometimes stands up and spins on itself instead of agitating but it ca be easily replaced with other inexpensive types.Would buy again.

The stirrer is not intended for mixing viscous liquids or solutions in large containers. I bought it to stir water in a 0.5 liter glass that I use for calibrating lab thermometers and it does this very well. The included stir bar is a bit on the small side so it probably shouldn't be used with a container much bigger than 1 liter. I have had it running continuously for days without any problems. The stirrer uses very little power so it does not heat up whatever it is stirring. The stirrer is very light, but in spite of this it seems like it would be durable.

Got this last week so I can't comment about durability but it's working fantastic so far. I bought this mainly for a future DIY Kalkwasser reactor (reef aquarium), but I have been using it so far to mix up chemicals including kalkwasser, 2 part alkalinity, as well as F2 fertilizer in fresh seawater for phytoplankton. The last one is probably overkill but it's neat to see this spin and get such a clean mix.It does feel well built and my future plans are to put it on a timer so it comes on for a couple of minutes every couple of hours while I dose kalkwasser. Just need to find an appropriate sized container for that. In the mean time I'm using it for anything I need mixed. I would probably recommend getting different sized stir bars, vs the one it came with but very happy with this product.
