As the prior owner of two "real" 1969 Dodge Charger R/T's, I wanted a model of the car for my office just because I like the lines of the Charger. The Maisto 69 Charger R/T is nice model of the car, with a fairly accurate interior, engine, trunk, etc. The chrome accents on the car (bumper, wheels, etc) looks a little too much like "plastic chrome", but I wasn't looking for a museum piece so it wasn't a big deal for me. I originally was going to get the black version because my long-time car had been black, but this purple version reminded me of the "groovy" colors Dodge used to make in the late 60's and early 70's which still make me smile. Plus you can see the body details more easily in purple than in black. Makes a great conversation piece at work!
