My 10-year-old kid used to attend after-school classes where he and his friends assembled models of sports cars. It was a fun activity and once the club was over, we decided to keep building model cars at home. This is the first one we purchased on Amazon. There was no problem with assembly at all. The tires can be changed to make the car look slightly different. We are planning to buy more models and invite the friends over!

Great paint job - This car is a beauty and it pairs up well with the "Maisto CSAL 2011 Ford Mustang GT Diecast Vehicle Kit, Scale 1:24 " http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0007XXJDK?ref_=cm_cr-mr-titleAs with most Maisto cars, the doors and hood open but the trunk does NOT.This is an assembly line model which means that you will have to assemble it yourself. This takes roughly 15 minutes and is not that challenging although I found putting the seatbelts on the seats a pain (literally ' people with arthritis will not enjoy doing it).btw This is a 1:24 model which I prefer vs the 1:18 (imho)Notes:Worth The Money: YesWould I Recommend It: YesPS if you want a certain colour (i.e. the red) contact amazon right after you place the order and ask for it. They will contact the seller and try to get the colour you want.

These,models are great, my 11 year old daughter loves putting them together and collecting them. She especially likes the fact that they are made of metal and not plastic. I would recommend this item to anyone, well made.
