Only thing I'll add is the silicone socket holder is grey not red but great product . Will buy the 1/4" set as well.

I use these for light duty applications with my Makita impact driver, they are awesome! Well built, accurate, portable, and have a snug fitting socket holder to keep them organized. Big thumbs up from me!

I am annoyed the 12mm appeared to be from a different set. It has a different black finish and is much thicker walled than the rest. This isn't a cheap set, i expected more.

These sockets are superb quality at any price and the rubber (pliable) holders are what makes them perfect for EDC or small portable tool kits. I wish makita would sell deep well versions AND sell the rubber socket rails separately! PLEASE! The rubber rails would sell like hotcakes to the EDC crowd where cubic inches are priceless! Cheers!

Sockets are great truly a fantastic product , and if you purchase the 3/8” size then you will probably purchase the 1/4” size as well .

Looked around a bit for a good set of general sockets to get dirty doing farm maintenance and machine tool maintenance. I ended up buying these Makita red and green sockets with a couple 15 degree swivel adapters.They are great products stay in the rubber very well in a tool bag and are easy to pull out when you bend the rubber. The sockets themselves are quite well made quite thick walled even for an impact socket. I can guarantee you will never break one with a 1/4 to 3/8s adapter and I would say there’s a one in a million chance you could break them if you stuck them straight on a 3/8 impact anvil.Can’t go wrong with the set and a 15 degree adapter works wonders in tight spaces.
