Cork oak trees are not allowed to be stripped of cork bark until they are 25 years old and then are allowed to regrow undisturbed for another seven to nine years after stripping

These are really high quality blocks. No slip on the mat, great grip even when sweating and good for drills.I do think they were very expensive. But my manduka mat is 7 years old and looks new. I assume the blocks will follow a similar trajectory.

There are a lot of blocks out there, so I can’t say these are the best. But if you’re looking for solid, well made cork blocks, you can’t go wrong with these.

Bought two of these, and I'm quite happy with them so far. I like their firmness, relatively large size, and stability, as well as the aesthetics of the cork. They've been very helpful in achieving certain poses that I can't currently do without blocks.

Ordered 2 for my home exercises whne I need small elevations for stretches and what-not.When they first arrived, they smelled a little funky, but I let them air out on the balcony for a bit and the next day, they were ready to use. Since then, I've been using them to do high planks jumping jacks and single deadlift squat and they are amazing. I put them either on my mat or on the floor, result is virtually the same. They are just large enough for my hands an feets (I'm 5'1, size UK4, US 6.5-7, EU 36-37).I recommend them for beginners.

It's a good yoga block, very sturdy and high quality. My issue is that it is a little too tall (which I probably would have realized if I paid closer attention to the dimensions beforehand).It is a little difficult to do heel raise squats or uneven/elevated pushups. It's not completely unreasonable, but a little difficult. I guess increased difficulty isn't necessarily a bad thing.Not quite right for my purposes, but could be good for others. Make sure the dimensions are right for you.

I have never needed to use a block before for yoga... Unfortunatly, I have been out-of-the loop for a while and recently took up Hot-Yoga/Ashtanga again. I needed just a lttle support to get back into the groove...These are great! Very sturdy and a definate must for Hot-Yoga since they are made out of cork. I belive they come in two different sizes, I chose the larger one.

super toller korkblock... ein bisschen schwer wenn man die plastik variante gewohnt ist... aber daran hab ich mich bald gewöhnt.
