This works well for the price. My son uses it for a single straight mute. It clips on his stand fairly easily and has not fell off. Better than holding the mute in his lap because he can easily grab it and put it back after the muted section.

It held my digital , Yamaha trumpet Mute or amp very well and was quite handy for keeping the mute and wires within the confinds of the stand for easy access without unhooking all the yamaha components

It does the job but the clip doesn't stay on the stand. It that respect, very disappointing.
