Planting Steps

Go over your seeds to make a careful selection, and then throw poor seeds away.
Clean your seeds once, then pour some water to soak seeds for several hours. [P.S. Most of seed needs to be soaked for 6-12 hours]
After completing the soaking process, put the planting plate over the water-containing plate.
Start to spread the seeds on the planting plate, please avoid overlap. [P.S. If the holes are too big for your seeds, you must put down a chemical free germinating paper towel so the seeds won't go through.]
Get the seeds wet by spray kettle, and cover the seeds lightly with a piece of germinating paper, then spray water again. Now, you just need to wait for seed [P.S. It may take 2-5 days to germinate]. Meantime, remember to spray water on the paper 1-2 times a day and keep the seeds out of the sun.
When you find emerging shoots reach 0.79"-1.18" long, you can remove the paper. Finally, start to add some water to the bottom tray when the bud of the root pierces the planting plate, had better not touch the seeds so as to avoid your seeds decayed.

WARM TIPS:

For the sixth steps: When you add water, please do not let your seeds touch the water so as to avoid the seeds decayed. Replacement of fresh water for the bottom tray is done 1-2 times a day.

Needed sturdy trays to grow fodder for my chickens and these are amazing! I have been able to use them for Wheat, Barley, and Lentils, which makes them really versitile for different sized sprouts. They easily stack together, quick to rinse/wash, and allows for airflow to prevent any mold growth.So glad that I purchased these!

The trays are perfect but what I love best are the papers. I use them for my broccoli sprouts/microgreens. It keeps the roots from going under the tray and having to cut them off. I can literally just grab a handful and the leaves, stem and root are still fully in tact to eat!

These are a better value than the last set I purchased. I spent $31 on these.These trays have a deeper bottom than the last ones I purchased, giving more space for the root system to grow better.I stack them on each other, and put a bottom tray on top with a weight on it until the grass starts to grow.The seeds stick to the bottom of the trays, I put a piece of parchment paper between each stack to stop the seeds from sticking to the bottom of the tray when stacked.I am using the trays to grow fodder for my animals. Currently sprouting wheat and sunflowers successfully.The chickens are cheaper, their eggs are healthier, the animals are happy, and I am happy. (I’m also fermenting their feed which has made a big difference for the ladies)

If you want to get into microgreens or sprouts, you need these trays! They are amazing and it's nice not having to deal with soil. I found that paper towel works better than the paper they provide.The only thing that would make it better is if they made a larger tray.

I use these trays every day. The holes are perfect for drainage. Finger slot is nice for easily separating the trays for watering. They are sturdy, easy to clean and just the right size for microgreens. I grow mine in soil rather than on the grow paper. Nice product. Well made.

The quality of this product is good, so is the price point. However, it does not come with any instructions and therefore would be difficult for an inexperienced or first time grower of microgreens. Also its better suited for large seeds such as peas but for seeds like radish the holes were too large

They are a good size, and the water drains well, so the sprouts can grow but not mold.I wish they came with a cover to keep out light. It's easy enough to improvise, but it would have been handy to have something that fit exactly right.
