I purchased a cheaper version of this tool, and it was not machined to the correct diameter. This tool is the right size! Proper machining, tight fit worked exactly the way I needed it to.

Wish the tool protruded further through the gimbal driver. Barely catches the bearing so itā€™s a little harder to align. Overall very nice product and saved the day. Make sure you grease the tool when checking alignment. The tight fit on the gimbal bearing can give you a false tension.

It fit great through the gimball bearing, but I had to take off 1/8 inch diameter for it to fit in my spline. Once that was done, it was great.

Worked perfectly on 2000 Volvo penta sx out drive. Arrived way faster than anticipated, very fair price and quality tool. Comes with a ring to install the seal and gimbal bearing then check alignment with engine.

I used this on a mercruiser R drive oil seal and gimbal bearing. It worked exactly like described and made the installation quick and painless without any issues. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone. Also this tool has some weight to it and feel like it will last a long timešŸ‘
