This is one of those gadgets you didn’t know you neededI saw a video on TikTok, but didn’t want to purchase that one so I came on Amazon and found this. It came quickly. There’s no sharp edges. The metal is strong. This should last the rest of my lifetime

I got this mainly to remove the lids from mason jars. When the vacuum in the jar is right the lids can be difficult to remove. This tool works great and it does not seem to damage the lid. I know that you are not supposed to reuse the lids, but it is nice that this opener does not damage them.

I tried this on a few jars and bottles including Mason jars. The opener is simple, and I see it works, but it tends to give dents and scratches so easily different from the product description. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong with this seemingly straightforward tool to use. At least, my wife is not very happy about this, so we’ll probably use this to open jars or bottles that are not intended to be reused.
