Benefits. . . quality block – Unlike the blocks provided by some organizations, our blocks are soft, kiln-dried, northwestern pine blocks, cut to 7 inches long, 1-3/4 inches wide, and 1-1/4 inches tall. These dimensions, as well as the axle slot placement (4-3/8 inches between slots), accurately duplicate the dimensions of the Boy Scout block. Simple axle preparation – Don’t worry about filing off flaws, or losing hub caps. Our axles have no burrs or crimp marks, and install without hub caps. You can use them as is, or lightly polish them with a metal polish. We supply five, so you have a spare. Quality wheels – Forget cheap, out of round wheels. We supply precision-molded wheels that are custom made for Maximum Velocity. We guarantee that you will not be disappointed with the quality of these wheels. Our bulk 12 pack contains 12 wood blocks, 49 wheels (one spare), 60 axles (one spare axle per kit), 12 instruction sheets, and 12 bags. Simply, package the kits and distribute. Applicability our kit can be used in any race that does not require a specific kit type. This includes races sponsored by Awana, Ymca, and other children’s organizations, as well as corporate, neighborhood, or community races.

These cars are so much better than the Boy Scout variety. Wheels are clean and without burrs, axle holes are big enough that you’re not going to split the wood when they’re inserted and you can get them back out. Price is also much lower than the boy scout store.

These were great kits for the price. The blocks, wheels and axles were very high quality. The added instruction sheets and baggies to separate the car kits to hand out were a nice touch. Just remember, these kits DO NOT HAVE WEIGHTS included with them. No big deal for most, but for some of the kids/families, they had trouble figuring out how to add weight to their cars or didn't know the needed or could add more weight. (It didn't occur to me until the race that not everyone would figure this out on their own, so the kids that did add weight dominated. Next time I will give everyone something printed suggesting weight options and limits, or just include some in the kit. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE KITS OR SELLER, JUST A SUGGESTION.)
