The refills I bought online that were supposed to be the ones to fit will not go through the end of the pen. Ridiculously priced and useless

I've been carrying this for the better part of a year after having bought it almost 3 years ago. I love the size. I love the bolt action. Very sturdy and solid. Today, when it ran out of ink, or so I thought, I pulled it apart to see which cartridge is in it. I discovered that there was ink all over the inside of the pen. To it's credit, there was no indication on the outside of the pen that the ink cartridge was compromised. I'm planning on cleaning it up and getting another, likely pressurized, cartridge, that's how much I like the quality and feel and size of this pen.

Please for the love of god put Loctite or something on the screw holding the keychain part on or put a typical spiral keychain in its place. Mine came off and I almost lost the pen.

Best outer shell I've ever seen for a keychain EDC pen.Originally gave it a worse review because I felt that the pen was bad for writing and that the ink cartridge is poor. I decided to change my review after trying this pens ink cartridge inside of a different EDC pen. I was bashing the ink cartridge but I now realize that the problem isn't the ink cartridge. It's a combination of the pen and the ink cartridge working together. The weight of the pen combined with the shape and length of the pen used with the ink cartridge makes the pen not write smoothly and makes it seem like the ink cartridge is the problem. It's not the ink cartridge. It's the outter shell. The outter shell looks nice but it's not good for writing even with a high quality ink cartridge.I think the pen has a nice appearance and design of its outter shell.I think the pen will probably survive a warzone because it's made with good quality materials.I think the top of the pen (the loop) is good for wearing as a necklace or attaching to your keychain.I think the pen is bad for writing and bad for extended use. It's not enjoyable to write with.

I’ve been carrying this pen almost daily for a few months not and I am quite pleased with it. I did upgrade the refill to a pressurized ballpoint refill, and it works just fine. The quality of the machining and the overall feel of the pen is very nice. More importantly to me, the bolt mechanism is nice and sturdy, unlike a cheaper pen I tried prior to this one. The removable d-ring on the top is nice quality as well. I’ve not had a chance to install tritium vials yet, but I’m looking forward to adding them to the pen.Overall, it’s a bit pricey for a pen, but the quality is definitely there.
