These work better than I really expected. Great for getting in cracks and polishing tiny parts. I tried it out on a paint scraper first, worked on that too.

Removes corrosion and polishes without being too abrasive. Good stuff! Priced fairly. Will purchase again.

Removes rust from those small paint chips (think match-head size of even smaller). Leaves a very smooth finish.

I’ve used these for years to clean edge connectors and solder pads before soldering, as well as other tasks needing a stiff non-metallic brush. Years ago my original handle was made of metal, which I was able to squeeze the end to make the brush even stiffer, but I haven’t found an affordable replacement since. This plastic one works well but the end can’t be modified to make the brush stiffer.

Good for a little corrosion, but not perfect.

These are excellent. The fibres are much finer than the older fibreglass erasers, much less chance of leaving scratch marks.

The Megacast Fiberglass Scratch Brush Pen has proven to be an invaluable tool for maintaining my HO scale model train motors. It’s compact, precise, and incredibly effective at cleaning delicate components without causing damage. The fiberglass bristles are the perfect balance between stiffness and gentleness, allowing me to clean off grime, oxidation, and buildup from motor contacts and other small parts with precision. The adjustable tip is a standout feature—it lets me control the amount of bristle exposed, which is great for working on different surfaces and levels of dirt.I was initially concerned about durability, but the bristles have held up well after several cleaning sessions. Replacement refills are also easy to find, ensuring that the tool remains useful for a long time. What I appreciate most is how this pen allows me to reach tight spaces and crevices in the motors that would be impossible with traditional brushes. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about maintaining their model trains or other intricate hobbies. If you’re looking for a reliable and effective cleaning tool for small, detailed work, the Megacast Fiberglass Scratch Brush Pen is an excellent choice. It’s easy to use, affordable, and delivers great results. Highly recommended for hobbyists and professionals alike!

While I was impressed after my first use, it did not take long for the first one to fail. The mechanism to extend and retract the brush eventually failed. I had the same experience with the rest of them. If you need to apply pressure for your use case they will break.
