Sturdy and colourful blocks. A little advanced for kiddos under 24 months. The top part slides off too easily, wish it could secure on for easier use when being played with

If you want something cheap, don't have much money, it's a go to. It does the job, but the wood is cheap, the little shapes too and the cover will be removed often and eventually get lost because it just slides in quite losely.

This item is perfect for my 18-month grandchild who loves to match the shapes to the slots provided on four sides of the wooden box. A sturdy toy, it is a great activity, both for motor and cognitive skills.

We got this for our granddaughter when she was about 2 yrs, 8 months, now 2 months later she still loves it and it’s the first toy she goes for when she comes over. Some of the shapes are very tricky and we still have to help, but she’s very good natured about it … if your child was easily frustrated this may not be an appropriate toy until they’re between 3 and 4. She also loves stacking all the blocks to make a tower. It was the perfect toy for a child with her temperament.

My 2yo and 1yo have been playing with this for almost a year now and it’s baffling reading some of the reviews. This sorter box is very durable and is now easy even for my 1yo to navigate. It is not too difficult if your child is patient and willing to try again and again. And the one I received had no sharp edges, it has held up to use and abuse for almost a year now so it’s clearly well crafted. I’m not sure what the complaint is about the child not being able to put the lid on themselves…that is a fact yes but big deal. This is why you play with your children so you’re apart of the experience as well and another chance to teach patience. I love the variety in the shapes, the colours are great and there is no sign of wear or paint wiping off and my kids use these multiple times throughout the day.

I was a bit put off reading all the reviews on here, but I'm glad I made the purchase. I have found this product to be very neatly made, good quality - no paint rubbing off, no wood chipping off, no sharp edges, no rough sides.Its beautifully made, the shapes fit the slots very well and the fact that there are so many, just makes the fun last longer.My 2yr old is in love with it, he has been playing with it all day today and he has decided to take it to bed too, its keeping him company while he sleeps. He has been loving sliding shapes into the box or even just dropping them in emptying out the box all over again. he knows his basic shapes, so this has provided him with new vocabulary and a lot more shapes to learn. I'm going to take this on a 14hr flight with us, hoping it'll keep him engaged for sometime.Love how it looks and its pretty sturdy too.
