The first time I ever had the pleasure of using a heated towel rack I knew that I needed one. Having the opportunity to do a remodel of a bathroom, since the initial design stage, the heated towel rack was planned. I've researched a number of different designs and styles, from hard wired to plug in. So when this one came up in the feed I knew exactly what I would be working with. The MENATT Heated Towel Rack is a plug in, 12v towel rack which makes it slightly more convienent to set up, you simply need to be sure there is a socket available to connect it to.32" by 24" is a great size. I'm installing it in what I would call an small to medium size main bathroom, so I needed something that would fit the space. Big enough to hold a few sizes of towels and a multiples, but not so large that it takes up too much wall space. It also protrudes about 5 inches from the wall. Just enough space behind the bars to easily hang thicker towels.Setup is super simple. After mounting in your chosen location you only need to plug it in. It includes a wound power cord which runs from the right side bar. It stretches but you will need to mount it fairly close to your socket.Control is through the touch pad about a third of the way down the right side. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on, then tap the temperature button to step through temperatures. Each press of the power button will add an hour to the time. It automatically shuts off after your chosen time.I am still working on the bathroom, but I've tested out the rack and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It heats the towels hanging on it! I've also tested out placing a damp towel on the rack and it does a good job drying the towel quicker than it would on it's own. No more stinky damp towels! The only thing I would have preferred on this rack is a separate button for the timer/hour setting rather than it being integrated into the power button. This is only a very small detail. I also would prefer if the light up power button did not flash. (It flashes when it's turned off.)Overall, it's great. Build quality is good, finish is also clean. Not too large and not too small. Control is simple, and installation is simple. A couple small issues but overall worthy of consideration.

This doesn’t get my towels very warm let alone being hot, I’ve tried everything from laying them on top to weaving them between the bars.

This item is good and it really makes a difference in the bathroom. I wasn’t overly impressed with how warm the towels were because we’ve had a similar model in the UK and the towels were kept quite warm. However, the difference in voltage between a Canadian plug and a British plug is significant and so the towels in this and are warm, but it’s more like taking the chill off.

This towel rack is big enough to hold several towels, including large ones, unlike some of the other towel warmers I looked at. This rack mounts on the wall with enough stand-off to permit thich towels to be tucked in. You can plug the rack in a standard plug, or wire it in to existing circuitry depending on what's best ofr your installation location. I used the standard plug, which has a six foot cord. One of the vertical arms has the control pad, letting you set temperature and timer. I find it heats up quickly enough that I can turn it on when I go into the shower or bath, and it's warm when I get out. The towel rack and warmer has had no issues in the few weeks I have been using it. I like this unit, especially on cold mornings and evenings!

These are the sort of things in life that you never really need but sometimes you want a warm towel getting out of the natural pool.Every once and again you jump in the cold bath and you want a hot towel to wrap around yourself afterwards.Or even better and those cold Winters when you're taking a hot shower you want to get out and have a towel to match your freak.Overall this is a great item to keep those towels warm, the rack itself looks great, the timer built in so you don't have to worry about it heating towels beyond their limits all day everyday and you get adjust the temperature easily using the remote.Assembly is very simple and installation difficulty is based more on your skill set and where you plan on installing than anything else. A great buy if you're interested in the warm towels.Until we meet again-Off the Grid Ken

The description says stainless steel and nickel so it's a bit confusing about how it will look. Luckily, it has a very nice finish, I would call it satin brushed. It has some shine but it's not a full shine. So it looks classy and will enhance the look of your high end bathroom. It has 12 bars and a timer with temperature control. I like my towels just warm, not overly hot and that was easy to set.It has UL certification, which is important for bathroom use. Recommended.

Very Easy to install. I don't feel like it gets them as hot as I thought they would be but, my husband thinks it is perfectly warm. To get the best heating on the towels, you've got to weave them through the bars so that the hot bars are touching as much of the towel as possible. Of course, when you do that, it decreases how many towels you can have on it at one time. But, simply hanging a towel on 1 bar pretty much does nothing to warm it up for you.

I like this towel warmer, but there is room for improvement. It warms up reasonably quickly, and as long as your towel is touching multiple points, does a good job of warming throughout. It comes with all the hardware necessary to install it, though I did get someone to give me a hand, just because it was complicated enough that I'm not sure i would have done a great job of it on my own.My two issues are:- The buttons are a bit finicky. Like... I wish there were acutal physical buttons instead of just a touch panel. I feel like it takes me a couple of tries to get it going, every time, and I look like a bit of a fool when I'm trying to show anyone else how to use it.- The cord is really short. We ended up placing it in a slightly less than optimal place, rather than having a new outlet wired in or running an extension cord. That said, if you've planned for it and have an accessible outlet, and assuming this finish goes well with your bathroom, this thing is a no brainer.... Well, definitely a luxury, but once you've stepped out of the shower to a nice warm towel, you'll never turn back.

Before we installed the towel warmer we tested it to see if it heats up to 155F, as stated in the disruption and it did go up to that temperature. The touch control worked initially. Then we had some problems it not turning on after 3 seconds finger on. Finally I figured out that it reacts to temperature. So when my fingers were cold, it would not turn on. You have to make sure your finger is warm. Another option is to just cover it with your mouth and breath on it. It comes right on. It looks elegant in our bathroom. I love a warm towel and it also dries quickly. It would give it a 5 star if the controller would be buttons. Anyway, I would buy it again.

The on/off, timer and temp is hard to set. There aren't any actual buttons. It says touch 3 seconds but sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. It is set to the highest temp and my towel does not feel as warm as my previous warmer which dies after 10 years of being left on constantly. Also this one you have to remember to turn it on an hour or so ahead of time.
