EDIT: HAZARD WARNING. After setting up with product(which didn't work at all). I noticed I got a bunch of cuts on my hand. The quality of this metal is poor and can give you micro cuts. I didn't notice it until I went and wash my hand and my hand started feeling cut pain. It's like getting a bunch of paper cuts in your hand. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS PRODUCTIt doesn't work at all with sodastream. I tried what other reviewers pointed out, I adjusted the screw and it doesn't seem to hit the sodastream pins. The washer is probably a bit too thick to hit it or the screw isn't long enough to trigger the sodastream input.

Ran out of CO2 for homebrewing. Purchased this in a pinch to utilize a sodastream cylinder until I can make a run to the homebrew store. Follow the instructions from the other comments here to prevent leaks.Use a flat screwdriver to adjust the valve on the adaptor all the way out. Screw the adaptor to the sodastream cylinder. Adjust the valve slowly until air just starts escaping. Quickly remove the adaptor with a wrench. Couple the adapter to your regulator. Lastly couple the sodastream bottle to the adaptor.Good to go.

it does connect a US male to AUS female bottle but does not have a moveable pin to allow the use of the soda stream. Do not buy this adaptor if you intend to use it as a soda stram bottle adaptor.

Works, just need to back off the screw to adjust. The issue is the mounting position, as this comes straight off the soda stream bottle so your regulator is perpendicular to the bottle.Which means my bottle has tolay down horizontally for the bubble counter to be used.

Adjust the relaese screw on this adapter firts. There is a review here who explain that in details, very helpful.Inside this adapter there is a release pin (middle pin, you will need a flat screw driver), the one who push on the bootle. Unscrew it loose, screw the adapter on the bootle (o not tight), ajust that screw until CO2 come out (just a bit). That's it. Screw everything together tight. No leak, no need of extra seal etc.. Works perfectly

This made i easy to refill my CO2 canister for Soda Stream. I had to go to a paintball shop, but was then able to easily refill these for $5

I used this adapter to go from a soda-stream bottle to my co2 regulator for making beer. I was a little worried about buying it because I had purchased others before that would not fit onto my soda-stream bottle, even though they said they would. They looked like the right thread but definitely were not. Now, I live in Canada and was told that there are different soda-stream threads depending on where you live, not sure if this is true but this adapter works for the ones in Canada. One issue that I have to point out. There is an adjuster pin inside the adapter. You need to adjust it or you will blow tons of co2 before you even get close to screwing the tank on.To avoid this, before you put the adapter on the regulator, loosen the internal adjuster screw out as far as it will go without falling out. Then screw the adapter on to the soda-stream. Once it's hand tight start turning the adjuster screw down until you just hear the gas starting to flow, then stop. Remove the adapter from the tank. Connect the adapter to the regulator, make sure it's good and tight, now screw on the soda-stream tank. You have got to be dead nuts fast at putting the tank on. As soon as you hear gas flowing, get cranking and it will finally seal up.If it wasn't for that little bit of adjustment you have to make on the internal pin, I would have given this 5 stars but it did waste a bit of my co2. So be careful of this.Good luck.J.

Came with a washer that was too thick, pin wouldn't trigger gas release. Great concept but wish they would put practice to theory

Works well but only if I used the second o-ring otherwise all the gas would come out.
