I love this for all my little critters. I own 2 so far and I would recommend this product to anyone. The only downfall is if you use suction cups and they let go after a while because my little hamster Henry climbs to the top. He ate some of them and I can't find replacements. I decided to stick it directly to his aquarium glass with a strip of velcro, without the actual stand that that bottle part slides in and that seems to last so far.

Easy to use and relatively leak proof, however, two of our pigs (the boys) could not figure out how it use it and the other two (the girls) took a couple of days to about two weeks to figure out how to use it. The major problem turns out was that we noticed the first girl pig was having a difficult time eating baby carrots after a couple of weeks. Looked it up and found that her bottom teeth were uneven. The way the spout comes down from the bottle, the pigs have to turn their head and “chew” on the spout. Because it is metal it was slowly grinding down on side of her teeth. Now she cannot eat properly. We removed the bottle immediately. Luckily our 2nd girl only started using the bottle so she is fine. Going to have to monitor our first girl and hope that her teeth even out or else it will be an expensive trip to the vet to get them fix. NOT RECOMMENDED GUINEA PIGS.

This is a good water bottle. It is sturdy, easy to fill, beautiful crystal clear, and holds a decent amount of water. It doesn't leak much, it will very very slowly lose one drop of water from the spout at a time, so it leaks much less than standard bottles. All in all it's good quality. However, unfortunately my guinea pig could not figure out how to use it. So be sure you keep another option available for your pet if they weren't raised with this type, and monitor to be sure that your pet actually drinks from it and it's not just losing water over time from that slow drip.

International delivery is terrible. But the water bottle is good, no leaking at all unless you touch it, guinea pigs easily switched to this one From old water bottle.

We bought two of these for our fancy mice habitat. The suction cups work well. Incredibly well. However, we had to return one because it leaked despite everything we tried. The one that didn’t leak, the mice oils not figure it out. I think the pin is too heavy for a young mouse to lift up and release water (even with the heavier pin removed). Both mice are having difficulties learning that it is a water source. We will be switching bottles.

So I had to update my review on this bottle. The unit itself is good enough and doesn’t leak at all. It’s a bit quieter than the ball style bottle. (But not by much). The issue I had was since I provide my rats with a water dish as well, they don’t really use the water bottle. So the water sat in it for a while and once you have filled it, there is not an easy way to get it off the critter nation 1/2” bar spacing without removing the nozzle. Which of course allows water to pour out. And it leaks from the top when flipped upside down. So I had a very wet floor trying to get the thing off, and in my rush trying to turn the nozzle part to remove it, it broke in about a zillion places. It also had a crack from sitting that I have no idea where it came from? Probably works better with other cages but if you want to keep your water fresh and you have 1/2” spaced cage bars maybe get something else...

Great and easy setup, it is a bit awkward on a C+C cage but it does stay on my pigs learned to use it really fast. I love how easy it is to fill up without having to remove it. I honestly can't tell if it's the bottle but i find it empties quickly and there is some wetness on the inside on the cage. I think my pigs are just messy drinkers I've never once seen the bottle drip

The design is really nice and I find it to be quite modern with its crystal clear acrylic body and sleek shape.I actually bought this to water my baby chicks. I have used rodent water bottles to provide my chicks with clean fresh water before and was successful, but being that most rodent bottles are made for wire cages and my post-incubation tank was glass, I needed something that would adhere to a wall, not stick through bars. The suction cups on this bottle (small size) worked just fine for the weight of water that it can hold. Now, normal rodent bottles have a ball on the inside that the animal pushes with their tongue (or beak in this case) to dispense liquid, but this bottle works a tad bit different. It appears to be closer in design to those red chicken waters (called 'chicken nipples') that you can buy and attach to PVC piping. I thought it would work for me because of this, but it didn't. Red chicken waterers can be activated when the birds hit it with their beak from any angle but for this bottle to work the animal must push the metal rod upward and it doesn't work with side to side pressure. To my disappointment, the chicks just couldn't figure it out. This bottle wasn't designed for chicks, so I can't fault it's design based on my unique use. Other than my birds not being intelligent enough, this bottle is really neat and I like it quite a bit. The small size is super small though, quite a bit smaller than I expected honestly. You should probably just buy the next size up.My only real critique is that it did leak a little. I left it in the tank for much longer than I needed to (I was really hoping at least one bird would eventually figure it out) and it would slowly drip from time to time even though no one was pecking at it anymore.
