Looks like a quality check valve, however I couldn’t use it because it had the wrong inlet fitting and wouldnt work in my compressor. The item description says that it has 1/2” NPT. but the reality is only the lower threads (where it screws in tank) is NPT. The top inlet threads are for a 1/2” compression fitting so i couldnt make it work. Had to purchase the 1092-1 check valve (which has a female 1/2” npt thread at its inlet) and a short 1/2” mnpt brass pipe to get the compressor back up and running .

In a world where it's harder and harder to get good replacement parts to keep the old iron running it's nice to know Milton still there for you along with a few others like things were in a good old days before we were flooded with Chinese knockoff junk

After replacing just about everything on my compressor due to a small air leak I figured out it had to be the check valve. Well it was the problem and this new one fixed it! They made it easy to find the correct one for my compressor. So now I am back in business and running fine. Thank again!

Used this to fix an old valve that was not operating smoothly. This valve doesn't come with thread sealant or tape. I used some liquid teflon thread sealant (like a very thick paint with teflon in it, by permatex) to create a good thread seal. There are less expensive options available for this valve-- I ordered one on amazon as well for about 1/3 the price, and it looks identical and even comes with red thread sealant. I'll keep that one as a backup. For now, I have the "name brand" one installed.
