First off, this is a very cool desk model. The sliver finish with the black and orange accents of the Jetstar livery just looks amazing. It is large though and considerably larger than 1:300 scale. The fuselage measures just over 7.25" and the wingspan is about 6.5". That's not a bad thing in my book, but if you are looking for a smaller plane or one that will match your other 1:300 scale aircraft models, you may be in for a bit of a shock. The landing gear are removable for lots of options while posing, either without the stand or for takeoff/landing. However, the gear just slip over metal posts that hang down from the aircraft and have a bit of trouble staying on without a bit of help from a tiny bit of sticky-tac or similar product. Personally, I wish the gear hand posts that stuck into the aircraft rather than the other way around because it would make for a cleaner model when in "flight" pose. The stand is utilitarian but not pretty. I wish it was black or clear so it would highlight the model. Off-white is not a color I would choose for a flight stand. All in all, a very good model but a couple of tweaks from the manufacturer would make it amazing!

Full disclosure- I am one of those At-Geeks (aviation geeks- someone who loves aviation and planes). This is a cool, easy to put together model of a Jetstar Airbus 320 - one of the most common single-aisle type jets. The body and the wings/engines of the jet come assembled and are metallic. The model comes with the livery and all markings complete. You will have to install the three landing gear pieces. They are simple to push onto the body of the jet, but take note that the nose gear is slightly different than the two main gear assemblies and you will want to install it with the triangle facing the proper direction.Installing the complete model on the all plastic base was easy. It appears to be secure and the base balances the weight of the model well (I’m not worried about tipping, being too heavy). It is true to the sizes listed in the product description. It is not a large model, so do take note of the size to make sure it matches your needs.I have the model on my desk with some other aviation memorabilia and it fits in nicely! Recommend.
