An adequate scale model but several things are unfortunately generic. The display base is cheap, plain white plastic (instead of glossy or metallic or unobtrusive black). The radomes and antennas found on the top of modern aircraft have been crudely "drawn" onto the surface rather than projecting like they should. The color isn't quite right for Air Canada's current livery. There's literally no information included about the model. The model itself is metal but rather lightweight for a die-cast item. The packaging is also generic "import" boxing as pictured. There's nothing about the airline, aircraft, manufacturing process, or literally anything else on or in the packaging. Eg, there's several variations of 777, Air Canada flies 2 versions currently. Which one is this?Nothing about collectability, the manufacturer, or what other models they make.I might seem overly particular about these specifics, but people buying this kind of model are typically either collectors, or fans of the specific airline (or aircraft).Glossing over the specifics might be fine if this is a gift for a child going on their first long flight, but less fine for the likely target audience of adult purchasers.
