Works well enough for smaller engines, make sure you have water intake on 1 side only since this one only does the one side.If you have dual intakes then you might seek the other option.Good quality, should last a lifetime(or the next boat with my boat itis) About 5 inch diameter cups.

I was surprised with how well this unit was built. The metal pieces are all very heavy and the cups that go over the motor are thick as well. There were no issues attaching the unit to a regular garden hose and using it as directed on the packaging. Overall it feels like it should be a more expensive product and I'm very satisfied with the purchase
