The bushings are narrower than the original bushings. With the cost of shipping it's not worth sending them back.

These bushings worked great, the knocking on my Mazda 5 is gone. Doing these on the rear is a piece of cake. Doing these on the front, however, is a nightmare. If you were going to do these yourself, make sure you have a huge variety of tools. Long ratchet handles, short, ones, Deep sockets, shallow sockets, bent wrenches, lots of curse words… it’s a huge job that took me hours. The pictures are of the old ones I replaced. Absolutely a pain to get to these.

The original Mazda sway bar bushings held pretty good.Needed to replace them when the car reached 170k km.Used the Moog sway bar bushings based on their great review...Recently needed to replace the shocks in my car and I was also looking to see how theMoog bushing held up.Unfortunately I've seen that some chunks of rubber are missing ( it's around the slit - the area where the bushings are cut so that they can be installed around the sway bar). This is pretty bad .... The original bushings were one piece when removed them... is just that the rubberhad a larger hole in it due to wear over time.I plan to buy new bushings from a Mazda dealer next time.I'm surprised to see the high score this item received - which is pretty deceiving...Anyhow - since my car is fairly old ( 14 years old) I'm trying to keep the costs low... but there are some items for which that's not a good idea...Well... this is one of those items.

Great OEM replacement bushings on my Mazda. The sway bar has noticeably less play than it did before the Moog bushings were installed. Be sure to TAKE YOUR TIME and use a lot of WD-40 on the bolts before attempting to remove them. I broke the first bolt that I tried to remove and it was a pain to fix.

Replaced these sway bar bushings on my 2009 Mazda5 with only 62K miles - really made a difference in the noise level coming from the front. No more thumping noises when traveling over bumps and uneven roads. Apparently these are notorious for wearing out but are not expensive or difficult to replace. Took about an hour and only used car ramps as you can reach from underneath and behind the cross member. You will need an offset 14mm wrench and a stubby 3/8" ratchet with a shallow socket to effectively get these replaced. Use a little WD40 to loosen bolts if rusty but wipe off so as not to contaminate the bushings. If you have small to average size hands it will help out as it is a tight fit.

Installed on 2006 Mazda5. We all know this model squeaks in front swaybar over time. Get it replaced with Moog. No more annoying sounds!

These worked well to silence the sway bar from making knocking sounds. Would buy again.
