AMC cars have strut rods same as early Mustangs, Falcons, etc. Moog has discontinued the AMC bushing, but these will fit with some caveats. They're a little thicker, so you might have to cut them down to make room on the strut rod for the nut. If you don't want to cut the bushings down, I found I could use Mevotech bushings (which are thinner and softer) on the back side and use a Moog bushings on the front side and it all fit without modification. The front bushing takes most of the load on AMCs so using the heavier MOOG bushing there makes sense. These are a bit harsher than using the Mevotechs front and backside both, but not objectionably so, and I think the heavier Moog bushings will last longer.

The part was easy to install, it fit well and appears to be a quality product. I would recommend as your classic car strut rod bushing is likely wear out if it has never been replaced.
