Needed another live centre for my small lathe. Give this a try as the price was very reasonable. Have to say it fits the sleeve perfectly and runs nice and true. Seems very well made, and feel it was well worth a try.

I was skeptical as I turn bowls and tend to save up and buy the brand-names, but was in a pinch when the spur from my old faithful went missing on me. This center is very sturdy, seems to have a decent bearing in it and has not given me any trouble after a few months of hobbyist bowl turner use. I don't have an expensive one to compare it to, but if you're not a commercial/production woodturner this one is a great value.
