Musher’s Secret was recommended from a friend and it really does help with preventing salt from hurting my dog’s feet.

The ointment is easy to apply to your dogs feet. It helps to keep the salt away from their paws for about 30 minutes at a quick pace. However, it does wear off after a while. May need another application if you’re walking your dog more than 1/2 an hour.

This product work very well our dog is 13 and has had issues with walking especially in the cold. We notice an immediate difference especially with the salt on sidewalks and road did not seem to bother him as much.

Tried all kinds of boots for my dachshund, none of which would stay on. This product protects the pads of his paws on snow and ice which allows him to frolic around outside. I take it with me on longer walks and reapply if his paws get wet. Easy to apply.

Tough time keep boots on our schnauzer - but Alberta gets cold winters so this has been protecting her feet so far.

This is my dogs paws life saver, really easy to put on, and she has no issues walking like she does if i put the boots on. As she likes to chase a ball in the snow
