We did everything like we were supposed to when sitting the rein length, however lol there is a ton left over, which isn’t an issues if you ride in a western saddle. I do not lol.Hopefully the pics give you a little idea on length.The material is a little stiffer than I thought, but not rough under hand. Good buy over all.

I like them they’re nice quality for nylon mecates, and the hair hasn’t shed yet, and is thick. Only complaint is when I finished wrapping my bosal, the lead rope end was a bit short and I’d like them to have been about 2-3ft longer. Doesn’t give me much to coil and tie onto my saddle but they will work fine. The reins feel nice in my hands and have a nice thickness. I have horse hair mecates and I wanted some that weren’t so rough on my hands so I bought these with a second bosal and I really like them paired together.
