Your cart is empty.My name is Maria, I live in the Scottish Highlands from Yorkshire and I am the designer of the original escape proof cat jacket/harnesses. I make each of my cat jackets by hand, made to measure, from quality materials. I am a proud owner of 2 Bengals; Otis and Sherlock, and a Maine Coon; Barney who keeps the others on their toes! I soon realised that the many harnesses on the market were not secure and not feline escape proof. Cats were easily escaping from them by simply 'reversing' out of them. While developing my design, I did a lot of research. My design incorporates opinions and feedback from cat breeders and other owners. My design fulfils the 6 main aims for success: 1) Security, 2) Strength, 3) Practicality, 4) Design, 5) Comfort, 6) Customer satisfaction It fastens securely around the neck and chest with long strips of velcro. My jackets are extremely durable, triple sewn for strength, hard wearing and machine washable. They are easy and quick to put on and adjust to your cat. They have a super secure welded steel D-ring with extra reinforced stitching to attach your lead to go for walkies. Please never leave your cat unattended outside. My jackets are not designed for the cat to be left outside unattended whilst attached to something. Although I cannot guarantee that my jackets are totally escape proof I have worked to get them to be as close as possible. It is important to ensure correct snug fit and that training is completed before embarking outside.

We purchased the Mynwood Cat Jacket (black with white skulls) in August 2019. Our cat is long haired, part Maine Coon, and around 13.5lbs (6.1kg). We have used the cat jacket for spring/summer/autumn of 2020.The length of the jacket along with the Velcro straps is very secure and we have had no escape incidents.With a long-haired cat, the grabby part of the Velcro needs to be cleaned quite often, but still preferable to other securing mechanisms. I normally use a comb to clear the excess fur off the Velcro as needed.A jacket that is mostly black for a long-haired orange/white cat is not the best option if you want things to look tidy.It is obvious that our cat is more comfortable in this jacket than she was in the harnesses we have tried in the past. She never seems uncomfortable and always appears to move around naturally. Harnesses we have tried in the past always seemed to have some adjustment period after putting them on her.Heading into spring 2021 we feel no need to switch to something different. This cat jacket has worked out so well compared to other options. We may even order another one in a different color.

Wont wear a collar but loves to hang out in his skull harness. Worth the money spent and love the quality and so easy to put on and take off. 0 resistance with him. Wish I could find more in other colors.

I've tried 4 other commercial harnesses and none of them were able to fit my Bengal. She wouldn't even move in them they were so constraining no matter how they were adjusted. This jacket fits her so well and she barely minds it. Learning curve was very quick and she is already comfortable making trips outside in it after only a few days wearing the jacket (for a couple of supervised hours per day).Very happy!

It works well. As long as it is done up snuggly my cat can't escape. Fits well on my med and small cat. Only complaint is that the cool black jacket with white skulls faded quite quickly in the sun.

Really quick shipping. The coat is great quality and Beastie Cat seems to find it comfortable. The d-ring being at the back takes a bit to get used to but it's super solid, unlike most of the other harnesses we've tried. The skull fabric is fabulous.

Good quality. My cat is quiet small and I was worried that it would be too big but it fits perfectly. Doesn’t impede his walking like other harnesses that I have used. He was jumping up onto the counter and walking around like it wasn’t even on.

Love this harness! Bella loves it at as well. The Velcro makes for a nice, snug fit. Her fur does get in the way and make it harder to do up at times. But by far the best harness I have found. I don’t worry about her slipping out of it like others. Definitely worth every penny!!

I'm giving this product 4 stars because I just received it today and our cat seems to like it so much better than all of the other halters i've tried with him. He had it on for about 30 minutes when a rabbit ran past him and he sprinted after it very quickly. I'm sure all of the other harnesses we've tried would have allowed for his escape, but the Mynwood Cat Jacket/Harness held tight and he wasn't able to escape...I'll send another message once we've had it for awhile.
