These were fun and affordable ideas to do with the kids this summer. The paint isn’t very good and some were dried but we had plenty of extra from our arts and crafts bin. Easy to put together!

Wood is cheaply made and came warped. Poor quality. Would not purchase again

My daughter loves to build stuff using a hammer and nails. This one’s one of the projects I really loved making with her. For sure helps if you need an indoor activity for an active lil one. Love this have bought many by this brand.

Not a great product. The door does not swing smoothly so if you want a peek, you will certainly scare the birds. It’s been hanging since the summer and so flimsy, look at what an enterprising squirrel did quite easily.

Simple to put together so i see how it would be fun for children but its more of a decoration when completed than a functioning bird house in my opinion.

I have a set up in my garden. This bird house is used to house a baby or animal monitor so when I put it together (all holes predrilled for your included nails), I did not use the front wall with the bird hole, so that the camera would be protected from rain/snow on the lens since I keep it at ground level. It works well.

My daughter loved painting the bird house, but when we put it together and hit the wood with the hammer to hard it split very easily by the nails. We also dropped it once in the hanging process and a piece of the roof cracked off. So the wood is just too brittle.

I recently assembled a DIY birdhouse kit and found it to be an enjoyable project that resulted in a well-constructed little house. The components were high quality and the included plans were straightforward and easy to follow, likely optimal for a child. The pieces fit together neatly and the pre-drilled holes made assembly intuitive. Included nails were appropriately sized and you only require a simple hammer and a table or deck to put together. I appreciated the thoughtful design that included a rotating side piece for cleaning.I have yet to have feathered friends take inhabitance It’s possible the location needs adjustment or I put it up too late.Despite being currently vacant, assembling this DIY birdhouse was simple but satisfying project. I would recommend it especially to children or for anyone looking for an easy introduction to woodcraft that results in an attractive backyard birdhouse. Hopefully in time, the birds will agree and make themselves at home!
