Make sure you are purchasing this product for the intended purpose. This is not a gripping pliers. It has smooth jaws and a curved upper profile for smoothly bending small diameter wire. The quality, as always with Knipex tools, is superb. The jaws are perfectly aligned and finished. Excellent choice.

Really fine quality again from knipex with a very smooth opening and closing action. I did have to contact Knipex regarding the grind quality on this particular set as they did seem to have slipped the usual high quality standards that I've always got from knipex. Not so much tip alignment, but the grinding of the tips down to the rivet joint was a little sloppy. After contacting them they resolved the matter straight away with no fuss at all. Great little set of needle nose with superb accuracy.

needle nose pliers just don't get better than this

Owning many Knipex pliers, I was looking for a well made very narrow width nose pliers to replace my Kobalt brand of narrow pliers. I use these narrow needle nose pliers when working with small parts, grabbing the edge of masking tape from a paint job and placing small labels on items. The long length and narrow tips allow you to reach areas that regular pliers and your fingers cannot.While the fit / finish on the Knipex is excellent, the width of the end of the pliers tips is too wide to be able to do the jobs as I described above.The width of the Kobolt end tips is about 1 mm, the end tips of the Knipex is 3.5 mm. Keep this in mind when considering these pliers.
