Never received audio. I thought initially it was my camera that was the issue, but I figured out over time that the mic is not functional. Wish I figured this out sooner. Waste of $25.

Package arrived on time in good condition, well packaged nothing missing.Used for video conference on laptop 4 days in a row no problems or static noises...Used on galaxy A54 cell and had static noise problems, most likely the ground wire at the voice pick has some minor defect and was not soldered correctly ?I'm not a tec professional so take that into consideration...I have the Deity D4 Duo and had absolutely no static from that mic as I switched back and for troubleshooting the noise...The Newer brand has a very solid plug in port connection with no static as I used my own higher quality longer cord bought from UGreen for cellphone use and no problems on both Newer and Deity mic's.When the Newer was close to rubber hose, peices of rubber or closed cell foam pad the static would be picked up on the Newer brand mic but wouldn't be picked up on the Deity mic so that is why I question the continuity of the ground connection from the voice pick up to the body of the mic...Also if a shirt your wearing has static build up even a slightest little bit it might be heard on the Newer mic when used on a cell phone?ALSO TESTED with the MVK KU-868 amplifier and it works flawless with no static noises and the plug in ports were compatible even when using 3rd party extensions "ugreen"... SO it's an awesome little microphone fir the price point as long as you will never use it with a samsung Galaxy A54 cellphone.... I have canceled my return as for the price it's an exceptional microphone when used on PC applications both laptops using AC or DC power supply and megaphone style amplifier I tested it on that was DC powered... last note the Deity has a very fine mesh steel screen and they also have added some kind of insulation between the steel screen and the mic body.... the Rode video mic me I tested also had fine mesh screen but no insulation and made much static when used on my cellphone. Nice work Newer your so close to a superior quality microphone !!

Feels solid and looks very well made but the description is incorrect and maybe a little misleading for someone that is not familiar with the connections. It should say, (Adapter Not Included for phones without a headphone jack). I had to order a USB type C to 3.5 mm adapter for my Samsung S20.I tested with and without and there is a noticeable improvement in sound volume and range with my phone and camera but nothing spatular. The noise reduction in the wind was good but there is a fair bit of what I would call general noise that was disappointing. It works good but I was hoping for better.

If you're looking for a small microphone this is well worth the investment. The sound quality, for the price, you couldn't ask for more. I like it so much, I purchased two.

Absolutely brilliant microphone, with noise cancelling dead cat, not too heavy and really good audio quality. Definitely worth the money, if anything it's actually cheaper than it should be.

Great microphone vocals are clean and crisp. This microphone delivers for the price you can't go wrong. Works best two to three meters away from person.

This is a perfect beginner microphone, of course there are other higher end brands out there but this can capture great audio! It comes with the foam cap and deadcat! It works really well in windy conditions, it great at isolating the background noise so only your voice or whatever is in front the mic will get picked up. I highly recommend!! I paid &19.99 totally worth it for how I use it.

It arrived quickly. The sound is great. I use it with an adapter for my iPhone. Don’t forget to u plug the mic while reviewing playback on phones as you won’t hear anything and you’ll get freaked out thinking it doesn’t work like I did. HahahaA great buy and totally worth the money. Great size, versatile with the dead cat and mic sock that come with it. The clip is great and I love that it’s propped forward. Only downfall is that it’s clip only has the option to be attached to a camera, there is no way to get the clip to stay onto your phone or tripod/selfie stick. I have zip tied mine but it’s definitely far from ideal in set up that way. Still so worth having.

So I was a videographer for 7 1/2 years and made commercials and promo vids for 4 additional years, on top of going to college for Video Production and interning at a small production company in Tacoma...Long story shot, My main workhorses back then was my Sennheiser MKE-300 and my Rode Video Shotgun. The Sennheiser had slightly better audio but would break ALL THE TIME. I'd go through one a year and constantly try to get them repaired (they never came back 100% even when sent in to Sennheiser). While the Rode still works to this day and it's audio is definitely acceptable. Now this mic, is surprising, what was a $200 prosumer mic, the Rode Videomic, has somehow been cramed into this short shotgun. I just did a test yesterday directly comparing the recordings from both mics at different distances and I have to say, this tiny Neewer mic, the CM14, is equal to my Rode Videomic. It's just as clear, it's pickup distance is the same and the tones match, the only thing that's different is it's tiny size... I have no idea how they did this, but I just ordered 2 more as I'm going to do a live stream this Halloween as my first "serious" production in 5 years. I'm going to mix the place up, run it through my mixer, feeding that into my PC to Streamlabs. For this price it's 10/10, you'd be paying more than 20X as much for a better mic. Buy this and a pair of lapels (wireless if you can afford it), maybe a Zoom 1 or 4 for remote recording and you should be covered for 90% of your audio needs for small productions.
