I wanted this hood because of the sun visor. Many times I've been near blinded because of the sun filtering down through the water while diving. HOWEVER, the seller advertises VENTS in the hood. I returned the first one because of no vents. Foolishly believed it was an error. WRONG! This second order has NO VENTS EITHER. As I am unable to put holes on the top myself, I really am annoyed at the misadvertising. I will have to find someone in the dive club that can help me. What i do like, is the sun visor on the beanie. IF THE VENTS HAD BEEN IN THE CAP, then I would have rated the cap a '5'.

Great for using it for hours while surfing and kite surfing. Protects you from sun 100% all day and does not falls off.The only trade off is that it is difficult to understand someone talking to you like another surfer or a coach giving you instructions.

Great hat, have to get used to the muffled sounds I would imagine with any hat or hood, keeps head warm in socal winter waters especially with early morning wind chill. Great price.
