Can hold decent weight. I took it for keys and empty jute / cloth bag hanging. It works perfectly to my satisfaction.

The hooks are little bit smaller than I expected. But they are pretty strong and sturdy. Good for the cruise trip upcoming.

These hook magnets are small, as mentioned in the description, but very powerful. I am using one on a metal door with a matte paint finish. It has stayed in place, even with a significantly sized Christmas decoration hanging from it. It feels secure, and is small enough to be subtle and not noticeable. It is easy to hand something that has a hook or string to hang from. The hook itself might be too short for some applications, such as using multiple to hang a wreath.

Not sure these would ever hold 25 lbs as advertised. Had trouble with 15lbs .

I doubt it will hold 25 lbs. I guess 10 pound max. The magnetic power is quite strong but the surface is smooth so it slides when it is stuck to a smooth metal surface. I tried to increase the friction between adding a piece of moist paper towel between the surface. It seems to help a bit. It you can stick it to the ceiling and let things hang down, it should hold heavier stuff.Update after using them on a cruise ship. They are quite OK to use. If you want to hang heavier stuff on it, make sure you stick them to the ceiling. You are using the magnetic power (which is pretty strong) to hang things off the ceiling while you are relying on the frictional force if you hang things off the wall. As expected, there is not much friction between the metal surface and the smooth surface of the magnet.

these hooks worked amazing on our cruise , this added additional storage / hanging options for in room. Since all the walls were metal, these could be placed anywhere and can support everything from towels to jewlery without issue, I don't think you can put enough weight on these to pull them off the walls.Overall great addition to our cruise luggage. Would definately recommend these

These are super strong magnets and work well on some metals. However they slide down the side of my stove with the slightest weight on them. They did cling to other surfaces well. I bought these to use on our future cruise to hang things on the cabin walls, so I haven't discovered if they will actually work for the reason I bought them.

These hooks are much smaller than I anticipated them being, but they are crazy strong & the magnet holds tight! Takes some effort to remove. The hooks themselves are no larger than about 1/2". We bought them for a cruise to put up a sheet in our cabin, but never used for that. We also saw people using them to hang things on their cabin door. Very strong, well made hooks, sent in good time.
