The product is not suitable as a instrument nor as a toy tambourine. No jinggle sound, it is not wood more like compressed saw dust. I would never recommend this. Bought one at music and got same horrible product. Going to repair my old one made of real wood and real jingle sounds. Worst ptoduct.

This product has caused me great pain as the pins protrude out through the skin and cut my hands. After two uses most of the tumbrels have fallen out. Not safe to use.

Using these to cheer at professional soccer games. Neither one has a great sound on the drum part...rather a flat thuddy sound, but the cymbals part is excellent. If I only knew how to retune the drum part!

I’m a harmonica player. Some songs in band repertoires aren’t really well-suited for my main instrument so I play tambourine on those. This tambourine is nice quality for a stand in instrument and the sound of the jingles is fine. The skin isn’t the greatest but it does really well for the way I use it. It replaced and old used one I bought at a thrift store that was damaged. I like to put artwork on the skins and this one accepted my paints and pens without a hitch PLUS the sound was not affected by it
