Does what it's supposed to do as either a repeater extender or direct extension, easy to set up and use however the plug is massive compared o a normal size plug so needs plenty of space around it to be able to plug it in, won't fit beside another plug on a wall or extension.

This is a great wifi extender. Set up is super easy, the instructions provided are clear and once set up this cleared the dead spots in my house.The speed is great too with this being WiFi 6 compatible. The product looks sleek and with it being white blends in with the sockets.Overall a great extender.

Contrary to other reviewers I found this unit very easy to set up, this may be because I have set up other extenders and am aware of some of the pitfalls. When installing for the first time plug it in near your router and run through the setup, I did mine on my MacBookPro using Safari browser and it was a doddle, once configured un plug it and take it to the location you wish to extend to and plug it in, provided it is within range of your router it will reconnect and start working. I used mine to increase signal strength to a WiFi security camera outside my house which it has done not quite to full signal strength but close enough for stable video and PTZ control. The unit is small and tidy and easily concealed behind a TV or the like, it is a cost effective way of boosting your coverage.

So far it seems reliable. I've been using this Wireless Access Poit exclusively for the past week and I didn't experience any disconnection or erratic behaviour. The only thing I found odd is the slow WIFI 6 speed on the 2.4Ghz band.As a refresher, the realistic Wi-Fi Speeds for an AX1800 Routers is between ~600–900 Mbps on the 5 GHz band (best-case, close to router). On the 2.4 GHz, WIFI 6 should be between 100 to 300 Mbps.At my computer, the speed I'm getting is between 157Mbps to 320Mbps on the 5 Ghz band. The 2.4Ghz speed is around 35Mbps. Note that my desktop is 8 meter away from the AP and there is one wall inbetween. I'm getting between 2/3 to 3/3 bar on the 5 Ghz band and 3/3 bar on 2.4 Ghz.Using my iPhone 14 Pro Max which support WIFI 6, the maximum speed I was able to get on 5 Ghz is 755Mbps at 3 feet from the extender. This is fairly average for WIFI 6. On the 2.4 Ghz band however, I was only able to get 55 Mbps. This is lower than expected.The user interface leave a bit to be desired. I only used the Web Interface. On the first connection, a captive portals will appear. Those are the pages that often appear when connecting to a public WIFI. They sometime ask for a e-mail or shows a licence agreement. Here, it's a simple login (Password is "admin"). Afterward you have to figure out what is in front of you. In short, this extender assume you wish to use it in repeater mode so it's showing a bunch of WIFI it can connect to. If this is not what you want, click on the Home icon on the top right and it will show the other mode.This extender can be used as a repeater, an Access Point or a Router. The extender has a single Gigabit Ethernet port at the back so it's pretty limited as a router. In repeater mode, it will extend the WIFI coverage by retransmitting all of the data so there will be a significant drop in performance. Normally, bandwith is half and there is additional delay due to the extra hop. Last mode is Access Point which I mainly used. It create a new SSID and all of the data is being carried over Ethernet to my main router. This is the most reliable use as an extender.Over all, it's decent. The performance is acceptable, it's compact and it looks nice.

The directions are pretty good, but don't really clearly define the differences in the functionality. Having said that, it's pretty straight forward to get running and to extend your network. If you're going to use it as a bridge, and connect via ethernet, configure the router BEFORE connecting the ethernet cable, otherwise it'll default to the other network with it's IP address and you won't be able to connect to the extenders interface and configure it. Disconnecting it from the ethernet port will solve this.

Works in a small home or office; the setup is pretty basic and should be handled by anyone. The Wi-Fi strength is okay, even though it doesn't seem to go over 30 mb, which is a bit of a letdown, I guess; however, it should be enough for normal browsing.

A good amplifier, it's very powerful. My house has thick walls, and my box doesn't allow me to have the best signal quality throughout the entire house. This amplifier allows me to significantly expand the range of my WiFi network.It has good quality and smoothness, and is directly connected to a 220V socket. It consumes 3.6 Wh. The installation is very simple, just plug it into the socket and connect it to the computer through the browser on the router for configuration. The interface is intuitive and enjoyable. When I connect to this network, I experience no speed loss. The OLED screen on the device allows you to check its status at a glance. I also used an amplifier in router mode by connecting it with the provided Ethernet cable, which is not surprising as it is easy to install and takes immediate effect. Value for money, I recommend this device.

This WiFi repeater is easy to set up, and its screen provides clear information about the connection. After plugging in the power, simply wait for 1-2 minutes and connect to the Newfast WiFi network (5G or 2.4G), and the connection page will appear on the phone. The default password is admin. After a quick scan, we will reach the selection page for the WiFi network to be extended. You can choose to have WiFi 5 or 6 and merge two networks (2.4G and 5G). After verification, the network will display the "_2g&5g" extension and be located in WiFi 6. You can even directly associate with the box through WPS. If you want to go further, you can use many advanced management options to adjust DHCP ipv6、 Port forwarding The range is good, it effectively increases the WiFi coverage.

NEWFAST's WiFi 6 repeater model NF-RE553 is used to improve the WiFi of secondary buildings.It has a dignified design and is moderately compact. Easy to install and configure. Signal transmission: stable and smooth. Everything is fast, I recommend it.

WiFi has great scalability. According to the instructions, the installation is quick and you only need to handle it. The coverage is very good, and it has indeed brought progress to me. So far, I haven't found any interruptions.
