This CHMSL (ASIN B0C5R3SRKB) is plug'n'play and works well for the most part. The bed lighting could be better - but I have the bed lighting option in the truck so its not a concern. The brake light is bright. As others mentioned, it is secured with only 2 screws - not 4 that is shown in the product photo (and 2021 5th Gen RAM 1500s use). The seal at the left and right ends is very good - but in the center not so much due to not being secured with 4 screws. Caulking is recommended as a result. I attempted to connect a UP 90655 brake attention module (https://www.amazon.com/United-Pacific-90655-Attention-Module/dp/B007I6P26Q) that worked on other vehicles but did not with this light. Removing the module allowed the brake light to work as expected - no errors or flashing. Another options is to use the factory CHMSL but to replace the incandescent lamps with LED type.

The item doesn’t have the force rules as it shows in the picture not very impressed if you’re going to put it in the photos and it has some thing and then send it later on with that it doesn’t not very cool

This is a nice option to your third brake light. The red led’s are bright. Most truck guys will know this is not stock. I love the smoke lens since my truck is black. The only thing is the abs plastic casing looks dull. I tried to coat it with a plastic trim but it still looks dull. Still not a deal breaker. There is a thick foam gasket that should keep out the rain. My 2019 5th gen Ram has 4 screws that hold the original light but this light uses only 2 of the outside holes. So…i screwed the bolts a little tighter but do not over tighten because you could crack the holes/light.
