This is a nutritious food and my female betta loves it. I went to this from the Aqueon pellets, and this seems a much better food. The size is also more manageable for little mouths.

My betta is so stingy and prefers certain food over others. She didn’t really like it all that much so I gave them to my cousin and their betta enjoys it much more than mine ever would. Good quality and quantity though I would recommend it if you’re willing to try new stuff out!

Bettas can be picky, difficult eaters in my experience. after about a weeks use...Pros:1. betta seems to like and is attracted to it2. seems to be good value for foods on amazon3. bag stands easily on a flat surfacecons:1. as others have noted they do not float well/long2. the zipper bag is useless. after picking pellets out of the gap i thought it would seal, but its still does not seal well. I'll have to put it in another container.3. like most dried bits it will swell with a bit of watertips that helped me with my fussy fish:1. soak a little while before feeding2. feed the betta 1 at a time and give it time to finish before feeding the nextIn a lineup of various foods, as a dry pellet/bit, I'd buy it again.

I like how easy it is to divide the perfect amount for the betta's needs. Yes, they don't float and sink fast if not eaten right away. But we give our betta one pellet at a time and he snatches them up before they sink to the bottom. And even if misses them, he usually finds them later. His colours also developed nicely. They are a great small size for a younger betta. We give 4 pellets at every mealtime. The amount of pellets you get in the bag is more than enough. We read that you should discard any food that's older than 6 months. I don't think we'll make it through the whole bag in 6 months.Excellent value.

Bigger bits than I was expecting; more like 2mm. My fish (beta, guppies, black phantom tetras) can fit these in their mouths but would prefer something half this size. However, I give this company props for having a better ingredient list than most. Wheat flour (yuck) is still the 4th ingredient, but I'm happy it's not 1-3. Wheat flour, corn, and soy - prominent ingredients in fish food - is highly unnatural and terribly inflammatory/bloating for fish. I can't wait for the day where a company makes a filler-free option.

My bettas absolutely love it! They chow down like no tomorrow and clearly it is a well balanced diet with such bold colour formation. P.s. im a breeder and aside from live and frozen foods this is my staple base diet.

I found out about Betta Bits through a Betta fish care video I watched on YouTube. These were highly recommended by a Betta enthusiast so I decided to look into them. The ingredients have minimal filler and high protein content, and you can tell by the smell that it’s decent quality. I rotate between these and the Fluval Bug Bites (Betta formula). I feed Betta Bits most of the time. The size is small enough so that my Betta can easily eat them and I only feed 4-5 pellets a day, and skip feeding once a week. My Betta hasn’t been a picky eater at all-he just comes right up to the top of his tank and scarfs down whatever food I feed him. Most of the time the Betta bits float at the top. I only feed one at a time to prevent any from sinking. My fish is really good at diving down to immediately eat a pellet if it sinks, but they hardly ever do. I keep him in a 5 gallon filtered tank, and with his diet, he is very active and healthy. He’s a Bumble Bee Betta (black body with gold/yellow tail with black trim, and yellow front fins) and his colors are vibrant. Since I only have one Betta and feed only a few pellets in a day, these will last a long time to come. I’d recommend going for the smaller sized bag unless you have multiple Betta tanks. I will definitely repurchase once I run out, which won’t be for a while.

My betta loves this food. His color is very vibrant and pretty, as well. The only issue is that they sink around a minute after touching the water, so you have to get the fish in line of sight and ready. But, my betta also seems to really enjoy chasing the food to the bottom of the tank. So its kinda a win win. Just drop a few pellets at a time.

The quality is really good and most importantly my betta loves it. I like that the pellets are really small and it’s easier for my betta to eat it. The place I bought him from gave me some pellets which were much bigger by comparison and he refused to eat. I saw these recommended on the Pharmaquatics YouTube channel (worth checking out!) and gave them a shot. He ate them on the first try and I’m happy knowing it’s a quality product.

Coming from a cheap chain store food to this, I can actually see better colors and health on my little guy. Also he likes these better of course! This bag is going to last quite a while price is justified. 10/10 Recommend.PS. they do smell of food so beware, it's not bother sum at all just if your someone who is going to puke from smelling it...
