The paper is amazing, it has the right type of texture and weight for all kinds of art materials.I am not a fan of the cover of the sketchbook as it easily can leave grease stains that soaks into the cover.It is a little too pricey for what it is. But i would buy it again regardless.

I'm always on the lookout for the 'perfect' sketchbook and this was recommended by Artist Koosje Koone for urban sketching. So far I am really happy with it.I've been using the Hahnemuhle watercolor sketchbooks and they are great for watercolor but the texture isn't great for fountain pen or colored pencil. This Nostalgie book has smooth paper that makes fountain pen and colored pencil a breeze PLUS watercolour actually looks good on the paper. Many smooth paper sketchbooks I've tried make my watercolor look dull and there is little to no mixing of pigments on the paper. This book is not watercolor paper but it must have a coating on it that allows the watercolor to work its magic.I've used Stillman and Birn Alpha, Epsilon and Beta which I like but they are getting so expensive so I thought I'd give this a try. The pages lay pretty flat so I can work over the gutter and since I'm mostly doing line & wash, there is not a lot of buckling of the pages.The cover is fabric which I thought might be a problem with getting dirty but so far I haven't had a problem. The Arteza and Speedball fabric covers feel irritating on my hands but this fabric is soft and non irritating.I finish a sketchbook about once a month or 6 weeks so I'm here ordering another so I'll have it ready to go.If you are a mixed media artist or urban sketcher I would recommend giving this a try.

Es de una calidad excelente, sin duda hahnemüle es una marca que promete calidad, ordene este para probar y ya voy por mi 4to de la misma marca, este es muy pequeño para mi preferencia pero eso lo hace muy portable para viaje, un A4 es mas apropiado para dibujar en casa . Excelente calidad, envio rapido y llego en excelentes condiciones.Recomendado 100% 🎨♡✏
