I used these for a small craft project, not food, for a nighttime parade in the city. I didn't want glass jars in case of impact. I made fairy light lanterns out of them and strung them together onto a pole. They were just the right size and held everything great. It was raining a bit but the seal held the water out, and the plastic is very lightweight compared to glass of the same size. The thin metal lids are very lightweight as well. Very good deal, highly recommend.

Great quality. The clear jar plastic is strong and durable. The lids close perfectly. I wish they had in bigger sizes too.
