It's truly not universal. Once installed on my weed whacker, the handle slides up& down the shaft. The inside should have some type of "gripper" materail to prevent slipping & spinning.

This handle is for a 1" dia trimmer shafts. It's not listed in the description or specifications. I looked up the models it fits and they had 1" dia shafts. Easy install and adjustable then tighten the bolts. The hardest part was getting the old broken one off. A pair of side cutters made quick work of the brittle plastic.

I have a 18v Kobalt and their handle is just offal. So put this DDRAUY Weed Eater Trimmer Handle Bar Handlebar Universal Loop on and it was a big difference. Only used it about 4 times now and do like it. But could use some longer screws, a gripper on both sides of handle and the foam on it turns. If they could glue the foam to the handle think it would help and last longer. Don't see the foam being around long time. But you would also probably have to pay more for it too with extras. But still way better than what was on it. Would buy again. Hope this helps someone.

I've installed it to my Makita XRU12Z trimmer. The non-slip mat can hold the Handle not slipping up and down only. But the Handle can turn around the rod freely. Finally, I need to add something between the handle and the mat to fix it.

I previously ordered a replacement handle for my Ryobi Expand-It. I ordered the one that looked like the original. It did not fit tightly. There was a lot of play which could be hazardous when weedeating or using the pole saw.I found this one and decided to give it a try. Perfect fit. Once I tightened down the screws that thing didn't move. I was able to do the hedges, weedeating, and edging again.I highly recommend this item as a replacement handle for your outdoor lawn equipment.

Product was not packed and shipped properly as a result assembly bolts/nuts broke through the envelope and went missing. Parts are being replaced but still no sign of them after a month. Handle is of good value and is solid. will be a good thing once I get the parts that are missing and can start using.
