I have put this on my snow thrower and it fit just fine. Holes lined up etc. The original cracked and broke after 3 winters - probably from rocks being picked up and shot through. This part hasn't gone through a winter yet so I will probably know a lot more in a few months. This fit on my Husqvarna snow thrower.

The part was difficult to install due to the poor fit and finish. I question the reliability of the part due to the stress on the product caused by the poor fit.

Husqvarna ST227P - Chute Base replacement procedure. 1st - remove one nut 14mm holding the chute neck to bracket and move the upper chute out of way. 2nd - remove two 3/8" bolts holding the belt cover on and remove belt cover. 3rd - remove four 12mm nuts and bolts holding the Chute Discharge Base. Note: When you remove the bolts, you can reach into the opening of the chute base and hold the bolts in place, so they do not drop when you take off the nuts. The two bolts and nuts that are located toward the middle of the snowblower on the chute discharge base have a metal plate that is held from inside the auger housing that the bolts feed through before coming up through the holes in the auger housing, so when you remove those two bolts remember that they have to go back through that metal plate first when reinstalling the new chute. Now just reverse the procedure to install the new Cute Discharge base. It took approx. 20 minutes to remove and replace the chute base and that includes cleaning up the tools and moving the snowblower back in the barn.

This part was to replace a discharge base on my Husqvarna snowblower. The part fit perfectly and has functioned as required. The shipment and delivery were as advertised. Great parts service.

Parts fits my snowblower, although the bolt holes are slightly too close together to make for an easy fit. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed.
