Quality thick paper, I've used to do a few illustrations using charcoal graphite and pen and I'll say what a treat. Very nice, smooth bright white and the overall book quality feels top shelf. Would buy again.

I am impressed with the Ohuhu marker pad sketch book. I was surprised by the added plastic buffer pad to put on your following page to prevent bleed through if you are heavy handed or using water colours. I can use it on my other colouring books and sketch pads. The paper is nice, thick and sturdy. I recommend these books.

I'm in my mid 30s and just beginning my journey into the world of drawing after not picking that hobby back up since I was a kid. I wanted better supplies than kid-me could've ever dreamed of, and tis the season, so I splurged and got myself this comically huge one.This sketchbook is SO BIG that it barely fits my easel! But that's exactly what I hoped for, except it's even bigger than I thought it would be. I'm thrilled because it means there is SO much space to work with on each page, so much art to be done to fill this beautiful book.The paper quality is top notch. Sakura Micron Pigma pens, alcohol markers with plenty of layering, these pages handle everything I throw at it no problem. Not to mention, they're really smooth to draw, write and color on.Generously, they include a fantastic plastic sheet that goes between the pages to prevent bleed-through, just in case, but for my purposes I haven't run into that issue (but of course judiciously use said sheet anyways). I was surprised, though, that the sheet is so malleable and smooth as well, not rough or rigid as I had initially thought it might be (though I'm not sure why I thought that, heh).I realize this is an expensive sketchbook, but it isn't, really, because the effect it's had on my art already is phenomenal. If anyone is serious about art, and not looking to just doodle around, or you want to work with (or perhaps already do work with) alcohol markers, THIS is the book to get. I am so excited to fill it to the brim with fun projects.It's worth every single penny, and then some.

J’adore ce papier lisse pour des dessins aux markers alcohol et le pastel à huile pour un certain style! Le format était idéal pour moi et peu facile à obtenir avec cette belle qualité de papier chez les marchants d’art, sauf les minces tablettes Arches qui se vendent à gros prix! Ils se détachent facilement sans briser votre papier et il peut être utilisé pour imprimer vos projets artistiques ou vos esquisses à travailler avec mon Canon Pixma 8720 pour photographes et artistes qui prend habituellement pas plus que 280gsm! Je le recommande fortement, car les markers alcohol ne traversent ou à peu visible, même si vous passer plus que 10 fois au même endroit! Quant si pastel à l’huile il ne glisse pas trop pour faire des œuvres picturales avec plusieurs couches! Je le recommande également pour le pastel à l’huile surtout si votre style est abstrait ou impressionniste, pour les autres styles une surface au gesso ou au ModPodge en aérosol serait judicieux!

I use this to demonstrate guided drawings to learners, ages 4 to 14.Pencils; coloured pencils; beeswax crayons; permanent markers; watercolour paints--nothing bleeds through this lovely, thick paper, so I am always able to use both sides of each sheet!Spiral binding is a bonus, as the book lays flat on my desk while I draw or paint.Large format is perfect for online teaching.I see this pad isn't available at the moment from Amazon. I ordered more at 27.00 CAD from ohuhu.com.

Really appreciate the size of the sketchbook with the high gsm (200! Woo hoo!). Hard to find good paper weight. I’m using this for marker, pencil and coloured pencil sketches. Can’t wait! Also, impressed by whoever packaged this.. it was shrink wrapped in plastic plus put into a fitted cardboard box which was placed inside another cardboard box. In short, it was wrapped really good! Arrived in perfect condition and took one day to arrive. Love it!

I love this sketchbook! The paper is heavy and perfect for markers. It's lovely and smooth, very white. A3 is a great size for when you want to make a drawing a bit more substantial than the A4 or the 9"x12" which are pretty standard drawing sizes.The cardboard backing is very sturdy. It doesn't bend even if I'm using it on the couch which is a lot harder on sketchbooks than sitting at a table.The perforations are great. It's quite easy to take out a page, not much chance of tearing.It comes with a silicone mat that you put between pages to prevent bleeding through to the next page. The paper is good enough that while it bleeds through to the back of the page it never gets onto the next page. That's pretty unusual. The mat's a nice touch, even though it isn't really necessary.I use prismmacolor markers with this sketchbook with great results!I've used smaller, hardback, square sketchbooks by this company several times and the paper in this this is the same. I loved those so I was really excited to find a bigger one.The price is just fine, not unlike other premium sketchbooks.This is highly recommended for marker users, especially alcohol markers. It's excellent for blending.Great product!Definitely a thumbs up.

Debated about this one, and glad we purchased.The paper has a nice smooth texture and allows for marker blending without damaging the paper.It might drink up the maker if you are doing a large solid piece, but compared to other paper we have used, this one is not bad. Plus, it holds the color well and does not buckle for at least smaller pieces.It comes with a plastic protector to prevent bleeding to the next page, which is good, because it does bleed through to the bottom if you blend or do a "heavy" fill. Overall, happy with the purchase.
