Fender washers have rust and is probably made out of zinc but I knew that and bought it anyways.Has a smell but it’s earthy, just wash/boil it.

For the most part I liked the size of the perches and the fact that they have a natural texture. The perches are safe for birds to chew and peck at.You get a fair amount of perches.The only issues I see with these perches is that anything larger than a sun conure I don’t believe the perches would be strong enough.Additionally if your cage has wider gaps(cage for a larger conure) you will need larger washers to keep the perches on the cage

These are great for birds from small to medium size. Natural perches are so much better for a birds feet.

This is the 3rd time that i bought this item. The first and 2nd batch that i bought were too rusty and very bad chemical smell. This third one is not rusty but the platform perch is rotten and i cannot even let my birds use it because its rotten. I bought this again because its the only perches that has different textures and sizes. As a repeat 3rd time buyer i thought the products will be better but it became worse because one perch is rotten as seen on picture. I do not recommend this anymore.

These perches are perfect for my little parakeet. I took out the dowel perches that came with his cage after reading about his foot health. I have his flight cage set up so it's like a little tree with branches. My Birdo is happy to have more room to fly and something to grind his beak on. For the price, I couldn't recommend a better set. Unless you have a bigger bird. These would not be suitable for anything bigger than a love bird.

I opened the package and it had a very bad mold smell, I tried to wash them and the bark started to come off!

Really pleased with the quality. Nice size. Good quality wood. Great for birds to chew and great for foot health having a natural variety of textures.
