Works great. Magnet is optional so I left them out so the top can drop down into my jar. I can open the bottle on the first try so I give this opener 5 stars. Comes with two but I’ve only I stalled one right now. Great valueI hope you found this review helpful

When we were little we had a pop bottle opener like this one! We still have it! These remind me of that one and I had wanted to give one to each of our children. This set will allow us to do that! Pop is still sold in bottles if you look for it. (Sam's Club sells 'Mexican Coke', in bottles with sugar instead of corn syrup.) Some of your glass pop bottles now have 'screw off' caps, but you can still use a bottle opener such as these on those as well! And the price is right as well!

I found these to be very nice antique looking bottle openers. Functionality works great. I love that they are made of stainless steel so you know they will last and not rust over time. Stainless is usually sturdy material in my experience. The openers are lighter than I would have thought, therefore may have a cheaper feel to them. But I think they are lighter and thinner because of the strength of the steel being used they don't need to be thicker or heavier. Once mounted you won't know they are lighter anyway. Not mentioned in the description, these come with magnets that you can optionally install. They come with the magnets, 2 sided tape to attach them and a little instruction page. I installed the magnets and see the photo to see it catches the bottle cap so it does not fall. The magnets are strong but I think they don't feel nearly as strong because it has to pull through the stainless metal. It is still strong enough to hold the cap and it was an optional add on so I'm not going to complain about that. I mounted one in my garage and I'll mount the other at hunting camp. Overall I was very satisfied and found no issues with this product.

I mounted one of these openers on the end of my workbench in the shop (pictured) and it makes one handed bottle opening a breeze. The openers are robustly constructed and attractive with a brushed metal finish. I tested both the openers and included screws with a magnet and they are not magnetic, which is consistent with stainless steel.A cap catching bucket is not included but not mentioned in the listing is inclusion of 4 powerful small round magnets which can be mounted in small pockets formed into the back of the opener, secured with the double sided tape dots provided (pictured). Two of the pockets were too tight to receive the magnets with finger force (I think the finish was a bit too thick) but I was able to force them in with a pair of Channel Lock pliers, protecting the opposite side with a piece of wood, with no real difficulty. Once the magnets are installed caps are automatically retained magnetically when opening bottles (pictured), which is handy since they'd probably bounce under the workbench or tool shelving if left to fall.I'm going to mount the other opener in the galley of my boat. I have no doubt both will prove handy while serving long and well.

(2 pack) I like the classic bottle opener design. Easy. Permanant. It was easy to hang/mount the opener. One of them above the garbage can in the kitchen and the other on a post outside by the firepit. It says weather resistant, and it looks like it is. Also comes with magnets and small adhesive pads to place behind the opener, before installation, to catch the caps (also a convient feature).
