This is my second pair of onion glasses. I don't remember where I got the first pair because I had them foar probably 10 years. They broke and I purchased these as a replacement. They do not a do a good job of keeping the onion vapor out of my eyes. I can smell and feel the onion vapor as I cut the onions. My other glasses did not.

I have another pair, different brand, of these that i love. I probably should have stuck with that brand because these are way to big and just fall down my nose. So I can’t really say if they work well or not. If you have a larger size head they may be fine, but not good at all for those of us with smaller heads.

The foam the lines the glasses is supposed to provide a “seal”, to close the gap between the glasses and your face so the fumes don’t reach your eyes. The foam is too stiff so the glasses just push away from your face and provide no protection. Our previous pair of onion googles had way spongier, softer foam and worked great. These ones are useless. Do not buy them.

I usually cry painful tears when cutting onions and these made my eyes comfortable. It's a decent product and I recommend getting it.

Like another reviewer said, it's not working at all for me. The gap is there as the foam is insufficient. It's comfortable and looks fine, but if it doesn't do the job you get it for, what's the point? Add at least a double layer of foam if you want people to like this. I have tried several onion goggles and the only ones that seem to do the trick for me are the RSVP International ones. I guess you get what you pay for.
