Bought this to maintain the battery in my 2017 BMW R1200R through the can-bus port. Works as described. It saved a dead battery from another bike that had been sitting for months waiting to go to the hazardous disposal. Retiring my Battery Tender Junior.

Monitored with a oscilloscope, It does various pulse charging techniques as high as 4A until the battery is fully charged. While connected to the battery, It doesn't drain the battery if the 120VAC input power is removed.
