A bit annoying but my kids have enjoyed playing with this robotic kitty. I ordered this toy in hopes that it would be a good precursor to us getting actual kittens (which we have now). Luckily, the toy is more vocal than my actual kittens lol. I appreciate that there is an off/on switch on the abdomen of the toy so that when its not it use it is quieter. The cat has smoother movements than i anticipated, and it walks really well along both carpet and hardwood. Again, I wish it was quieter, maybe a lesser volume option along the switch panel in addition to off and on. It's a good size, compatible with stuffed animals that my kids own, and slightly bigger than regular sized ty plushies. The toy comes with quite a bit of accessories, including leash, brush/comb, feeding dish and color. I'd recommend this for little ones who love animals, cats particularly. Would make a good birthday or holiday gift for a little animal lover.

I saw one of these in a store recently, but it was a dog instead of a cat. This one is even cuter. The fabric is soft. The silly little thing has a baby bottle so children can pretend it's their baby. It comes with a little food bowl and a piece of "salmon" so they can feed it, too. It has a comb and a hair dryer so they can "groom" it. Its "leash" is the control to make it walk. It does that without falling over. They can pet its head or make a clapping noise to make it meow. It wags it tail and shakes its head like a dog, but this is just pretend, of course. It doesn't always respond, so try, try again. You need your own batteries, and I advise that you put them in before giving them to a child. It isn't that easy. The licking motion is cute. It's just a motion of the head up and down, but its TONGUE actually moves. It is entertaining for little ones and like it, too.

Super cheap accessories, but that's ok. The cat is very soft. My cat actually loves this thing. As soon as it started meowing and moving its head, my cat went bonkers and was all over it and me. I don't like the remote, there is no way of controlling what the cat does, or at least i can't figure it out. The directions are not really directions, they just say how to install the batteries (it takes 3 AA). It meows high and low. It "licks" which is super cute. It walks, just a little bit. Wags its tail. You have to plug in the "remote" to get it to walk. I think when you pet its head it makes it meow and move its head. Super fun and cute, but the remote is a load of garbage.
