Exactly as described, it works as intended. I use it to hold an 18-inch ring lamp and attach it to my desktop, and it’s been working well so far. The grip is good, and the build quality is also good. However, don’t overexert the bolt, as it’s designed for lightweight items. Also, avoid using it for tall objects, as the grip will become less secure. Overall, I think it’s suitable for my needs and is relatively easy to install. I would prefer a lower price, but that’s just my opinion.

The metal bent on the first use. This clamp is flimsy. I should have spent a few more bucks on a better one, instead of having to buy another one again

Product description indicated the plastic insert as being "13mm" - it was in fact 12.3mm - too tight to fit my lamp stem. Used without the insert but a bit wobbly - too much trouble to go through a return process.

I have a desk lamp which came with a big round base. My new desk arrangement does not have enough space for the base, but thanks to this product I did not need to buy a new lamp, just switch the base with this. It works exactly as it should, I definitely recommend it.

I bought this for an anglepoise lamp but it is not strong enough. I will keep it as it may be useful for other lamps.
