Daughter had a top of the line hood but it kept rolling up on her, decided to try this one which was quarter of the price and was able to tuck into her wetsuit. Worked great in 8 degree water for a few hours at a time. Now to sell the other one

This hood presents a great value. I used it in 40 degree water when I was 80' down and felt nice and comfortable.

You definitely get what you pay for. Very obviously a cheaply made hood. Not a great hood, but it does the job. Material feels very cheap, and is hard to maneuver.

This hood has kept my head toasty warm in 5 degree one hour ocean swims. However it has two flaws. The first is that it constricts the throat and threatens to cut off my air supply. I remedied this by cutting an oval opening at the throat and glued on an extra flap that thwarts water from entering while permitting air flow into the lungs. The other issue is that it runs in the neck line of the wetsuit and a hole appeared. I patched it with neoprene and now it is waterproof once more. If you are prepared to do a few modifications then overall I’d say this hood is worth the trouble.

I wanted something for open water swimming in cold water. My small thermal cap doesn't seem to do much but this thing was perfect in 50F water. It tucks right under the wetsuit for a nice seal and the face opening is large enough for swim goggles but small enough that my face doesn't get painfully cold. Can't wait to try it again in even colder water. Also good value for the money as many similar hoods are $50++

I only needed it for the neck piece, not the full hood. So as soon as I got it, I cut off the top and only used the neck part, tucked into my wetsuit. Worked as needed!

Very nice, fits well made well, served my purpose perfectly. Summer dive where I want to keep jelly fish off my face and neck. Fit with my mask without any need to trim. Very Happy with the product.
