I’ve been using this Outdoor Dimmer Switch Plug with my patio string lights for a few weeks now, and it’s made a massive difference in how we enjoy our outdoor space. The setup was effortless—plug it in, connect your lights, and you’re good to go. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the IP55 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind, knowing it can handle rain and outdoor conditions without any issues.One of the best features is the 100FT wireless remote—it works from across the yard, even with some obstacles. I can easily adjust the brightness from my deck chair or even inside the house, which is incredibly convenient. The dimming function is smooth and responsive, letting me set the right mood for dinners, parties, or quiet nights outside.The built-in timer with 2H/4H/6H/8H indicator lights is also handy. I’ve used it to turn the lights off automatically after a set time, so I don’t have to worry about leaving them on all night. This outdoor dimmer is actually very convenient, and the 100-foot range is excellent because I can turn the lights on and off from my house. The countdown timer feature is fantastic because I can have the lights turn off. Two grounded outlets are wonderful to control several lights, and the heavy-duty extension cord gives a good connection.

It said the wireless remote works up to 100 feet, which is nice when I’m lounging outside and don’t feel like getting up. I usually set it to turn off after with 6 hours. It shuts off automatically, so I can leave it on while I’m dozing off inside, and the soft glow through the window is kinda soothing. I like it's waterproof, appearance wise, it’s just a plain black box. I like that it’s got these little indicator lights for the timer settings, they are simple to read in the dark. Now the dimming function works okay, you can tweak the brightness a bit, though it’s not super precise. Sometimes I wish it could go lower for that extra cozy vibe.

The weatherproof design helps it to resist any type of weather. The extension cord is a bonus, It's made a huge difference in creating the perfect atmosphere on my patio, giving just the right amount of light for varying moods.
