For some reason I wanted an old fashioned type of lamp on a top of a post in our backyard. There's path stones that meet and kind of an intersection so I installed a post ran some wiring and installed this on the top of it it was quick and easy to set up once I got the wire and done change of good quality worked on the first try and so far so good

This is a very good quality metal post lamp for the price. The black metal finish is quite good and the only flaw I could find was a little bit of black paint on the glass (picture attached). I believe that the clear glass panel must have been inserted while the paint had not quite dried during the manufacturing process. The paint was easily removed with my fingernail and it is totally unnoticeable now.The perimeters of the glass panes have been well sealed and there should not be any issues with water getting inside. The lamp uses 16AWG wire and from the picture attached, it appears to be copper wire that has been tinned.Overall, I really like the styling and the quality is good for this price point. At the time of this review there is a 20% off coupon available, as well as an additional 5% redemption code making this a really good deal.

I have a post light on my front yard but it is too plain for me. I like the design of this light because it has bars in the middle which looks more stylish to me. It is made of aluminum metal which is lightweight and not easy to rust. And I like that the glass is tempered glass which won’t break easily. There are 2 mounting methods, post mount or pier mount. For pier mount the base is not included and I guess you buy it from this seller. Or I believe you can get it from a local hardware store too. In my case it is post mount and so no issue to me.This light is foam packed to ensure there is no damage during transportation. Upon opening the package I find this lantern a bit smaller than I expect. It is measured 15 inches counting from the top to bottom. However, the top part and bottom part may take away 4 inches and making the body part 11 inches or so. It is a bit small for me but I guess it still works. Installation is quite easy and fits any 3 inches post. Any DIYer should be able to install it.There is no warranty info and I assume there is none. But I am not too concern about this as I don’t expect this light to break down soon. Usually they can last for many years. In general I am happy with the quality of this post light.

My old post lamp came with the house, but was too small for the post and didn't light up properly. We just replaced it either this one and the proportions are better and it looks easier to replace the bulb when needed. It seems to be working with the lighting system/ timing so far, though I may just want to switch it to a simple on/ off with this one.
