This folds up when not needed. I love the matt to stand on. It is extremely helpful keep rocks snd and gravel off your feet when donning you boots. There is a mesh top, to allow air flow to keep waders from molding. Its great to have something to carry both waders and boots all together. Please note: Remember to take out your waders and hang to dry before you store them. We hang them when not in use during winter months. Its better on the waders, but these arw great for storing as well if you choose not to hang. Also, pop in a hand towel into your bag. It comes in handy! FISH ON! (These were gifts, so purchased 2 different brands so family can easily tell them apart. )

I like the fact the bag came in a self contained package, but that it opens up into a bag larger enough tocomfortably hold a set of waders and boots. Conveniently, it can also be thrown on the ground so that your wader boots don't get covered in sand or mud. Well worth the money.
